Aussie electricians spoke, and M-Elec listened! The APEX V2 spotlight range has been upgraded to tackle common frustrations, now with IP65-rated lights and sensor, plus an improved PIR sensor with up to 14m distance.

The same easy-connect base mounts to walls or ceilings with ample wiring space and 20mm conduit entry (back or base), plus sensor-out terminals for added versatility. Double insulated for safety, the body slides onto the base with reinforced guides and cable-free pin connections.

As before, the sensor features double gimbal action for full horizontal and vertical adjustments, along with screwdriver-free lamp adjustments and single-screw assembly. Another game-changing product designed by electricians, for electricians.

How to install an APEX with a PIR sensor correctly

We get technical calls and sometimes warranty claims for these spotlights with customers saying they are ‘not working’ as they should. It’s normally not a fault with the light but rather a lack of understanding about how the sensor works and the correct positioning.
